Our Passion for Fishing

LKAC5979.JPG

The Bass & Gill Club has some of the best fishing in the area! We have seven lakes to choose from and they are all great fisheries! The Main Lake is on the South Side of 126. On the North side of 126 we have the following lakes, Fletcher, Strike, Boondocks, Big Harris, Little Harris/Beehive & Catfish. We also have a kid's pond which is adjacent to our Main Lake.

Our lakes have the following species: Largemouth Bass, Black & White Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Green Sunfish, Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Redear Sunfish, & Carp. Rainbow Trout are stocked in the Main Lake in the fall.

Smallmouth Bass will be stocked in our Main Lake in the Fall of 2024.

Our club runs Bass fishing tournaments between the months of April and October. We have an angler of the year award for the best tournament angler by weight for each year. We run both single tournaments and buddy tournaments. We also have a kid's fishing derby every September with awards and prizes for children of all ages! Food and soft drinks are served at the fishing derby.

Bass are catch and release only. All bass must be released to the lake that they were caught immediately (after taking a picture). Bass are not allowed to be put in livewells (the only exception is during a club sanctioned tournament). Any member caught with a bass in his livewell outside of a sanctioned tournament or in possession of a bass while leaving club property will appear before the board and subject to termination.

Here is the creel limit per day per card holder for our lakes:
